Terrell and Brandy Scott’s lives were once bound by lust, crime, addiction, and the fast life two paths spiraling into despair, hopelessness, and brokenness. Yet, through the miraculous power of God, their stories were transformed from tragedy into triumph, and from darkness into light.
Terrell Scott, once a promising college athlete, was drawn into the fast-paced streets of Atlanta, rising from a gang member to a drug kingpin trafficking throughout the Southeast. His life took a dramatic turn when, while serving a 20-year prison sentence, he encountered the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. What began behind prison walls became one of the most profound miracles imaginable transforming Terrell from a gang leader into a community and international leader, a spiritual father, and a builder of God’s Kingdom around the world.
Brandy Scott, after losing her mother tragically, fell into the grip of street life and drug addiction. Her downward spiral deepened after being robbed at gunpoint, leaving her feeling hopeless—until she experienced a radical encounter with God that changed everything. Today, she is the co-founder of multiple ministries and a spiritual mother to her community and beyond.
Together, Terrell and Brandy founded Passion Life Church and The River Refuge International, and have been married since 2009. They are the proud parents of five children and began their church in 2013, impacting thousands of lives across the nations. Their ministry focuses on restoration, empowerment, and equipping a new generation through the message of God’s grace, love, and forgiveness.
Their incredible story has been featured on Life Today, The 700 Club (CBN), Fox 5 Atlanta, Channel 2 Action News, 93.3 JoyFM, Atlanta Channel 57, NewsNation, Chicago’s Morning Answer, NTD New York News, and in print by The Epoch Times and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, among numerous other media outlets.
Through their journey, Terrell and Brandy embody the truth that no life is beyond God’s reach. Their testimony proves that anyone’s story can be rewritten from pain to power, from tragedy to triumph, and from brokenness to purpose.
