Latoya Lackey is a Christian speaker, author, podcast host, and identity coach who is passionate about helping believers break free from performance-based religion and rediscover hope, identity, and freedom in Christ.
With more than 25 years of ministry experience—including deliverance ministry, inner healing, discipleship, and coaching—Latoya began to recognize a troubling pattern within the Body of Christ. Many faithful believers were striving endlessly: repenting more, praying harder, and working to earn what had already been secured through Christ’s finished work. At the root of this struggle was not simply sin—it was identity confusion.
That revelation reshaped her message and ignited her mission.
Through Latoya Lackey Ministries, she now teaches a righteousness-based, identity-rooted faith that challenges religious performance and confronts fear-driven theology. Her message centers on renewing the mind, understanding union with Christ, and learning to live from acceptance rather than striving for it. Latoya equips believers to walk in authentic spiritual freedom—not through self-effort, but through revelation of who they already are in Him.
Latoya is also the host of “That Kingdom Life,” a Christian podcast featuring conversations with leaders, theologians, and voices exploring Kingdom living, identity in Christ, deliverance, and reform within the Church. Her teaching style combines compassion with bold clarity, inviting people out of spiritual exhaustion and into the rest found in Christ.
Her upcoming book, The Bluff House: Finding His Rest (releasing March 2026), offers a powerful invitation to lay down religious striving and encounter the Father’s heart. Through personal storytelling and thoughtful theological insight, the book guides readers toward healing, rest, and a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ.
Latoya serves in ministry alongside her husband, Chris. Together they share a passion for helping people experience freedom, transformation, and a renewed understanding of God’s nature. Their partnership in life and ministry reflects more than 30 years of marriage, leadership, and faith.
In addition to her ministry work, Latoya has owned and operated multiple businesses, bringing practical wisdom and entrepreneurial leadership into everything she builds. She is also a proud “LaLa,” cherishes time with her family, and rarely goes anywhere without mentioning her beloved chihuahua, Bella.
Latoya’s message is simple yet life-changing:
You do not need to strive for what has already been given.
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are already held.
