Paul Samuels “Where is Christmas”

Born and raised on the streets of the South Bronx, I learned early how to search for meaning in unlikely places. Poetry and music became my refuge, shaping a hopeful outlook that carried me through four formative years in the U.S. Navy. From those beginnings, my life grew into a tapestry of unexpected beauty, marked by God’s grace in turning ashes into purpose.

I’ve had the privilege of serving with organizations such as Youth With A Mission, Mercy Ships, the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, and World Vision—work that took me around the world, from hospital ships to Romania, allowing me to give back from the depths of my own journey.

Though I’ve navigated different seasons as a businessman, I’ve never measured success by money, but by the richness of my faith, family, friendships, and the adventures life brings. My greatest joy has been my marriage to Arlene Bridges—whose love has shaped my life more than she knows—and the profound gift of adoption. In 1988 we welcomed our son, and in 1991 we traveled to Romania to bring home our daughter.

My story is one of resilience, redemption, and love—a life made full through grace and the people who share it with me.
