Shaun Francis is an author, speaker, business executive, and co-founder of the Room 11 Foundation whose life is a powerful testimony of God’s grace, miraculous healing, and unwavering faith.

With more than 20 years of global leadership experience, Shaun has lived and worked in 22 countries, leading human resources and organizational transformation for internationally recognized companies. A graduate of Cornell University, he is also a Certified Mediator and Six Sigma Black Belt, bringing both strategic leadership and a passion for helping people thrive.

While Shaun’s professional accomplishments are significant, his greatest story is one of redemption.

After battling alcoholism, Shaun was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and given only a five percent chance of survival. He spent sixteen days on life support while enduring multiple organ failure and countless medical complications. After making a miraculous recovery, he was later diagnosed with hydrocephalus and a severe brain infection, leading to seventeen brain surgeries. When doctors recommended hospice care, Shaun and his wife, Julie, chose faith over fear. He ultimately became the first patient to undergo a groundbreaking procedure that saved his life.

Today, Shaun and Julie have dedicated their lives to helping others discover the same hope they found in Christ. Together they founded the Room 11 Foundation, a ministry committed to strengthening marriages, restoring families, and encouraging people to Lean In and Lean On—lean into their faith, lean on their families, and trust God’s greater plan through life’s greatest challenges.

Shaun also partners with fellow survivor Lillian Hamilton through L&S Warriors, helping support cancer research while encouraging others facing difficult medical journeys.

Shaun and Julie live in Lake Worth, Florida, with their daughter, Helaina. Together they are active members of Journey Church and remain passionate about equipping families, strengthening local churches, and reminding others that no situation is beyond God’s power to redeem.
