William Allen Not Man Enough To Be A Woman

In 1993, after years of struggling with a deep internal conflict that began in childhood—a struggle that cost him his marriage, isolated him from family, and brought him to the brink of suicide—he transitioned to living as a female. Passing convincingly, he quietly built a comfortable life and career, known only to those who had known him before or those to whom he chose to reveal his past.

For much of his life, he believed he was a Christian and assumed his lifestyle was compatible with his faith. However, in the late 2010s, after attending a new church, he heard the true biblical Gospel for the first time. It wasn’t what he wanted to hear, but that very discomfort made it ring true. Through extensive study, prayer, and reflection, he realized that he had never truly known Christ. Seeing his sin and his choices through a biblical lens, he recognized his desperate need for a Savior. He repented, surrendered his life to Jesus, and experienced a powerful spiritual transformation.

Desiring to glorify God, he began the process of detransitioning—a journey that took nearly three years and required perseverance through significant opposition from those within the transgender movement. In October 2023, he completed the major steps of his detransition and returned to living as a man.

Today, his mission is to share the redeeming power of the Gospel and to speak truth about the realities of the transgender movement—especially to parents and families seeking to protect and guide vulnerable children.
